New Year: Chapter One!

E ho pure ripreso bello convinto a studiare Tedesco.

Perché, a quanto pare, entro fine anno DOVREI laurearmi.

PS Buon Compleanno Mamma!!!

--------------

Yes, I'm still alive. A month has passed and I'm finally back here to write some random things about me and my life, just to inaugurate this 2016. But let's finish with small talk, otherwise I'll be inaugurating this new year in 2017.

This one is going to be quite a short post because I honestly don't have a lot to say. Lately, I've not been in the mood for writing, nor have I had time.

Since that last post back on the 24th of December, when I was still under the effects of the post-Spain euphoria, nothing special has occurred. As always, January is a kind of weird month, often newsless.

In my case, January has been above all a month of relax: not having any exam left to do, I spared myself a considerable amount of stress and tension I honestly don't know how I could handle. Geez, I'm human after all and I'm well aware of my limits, so working more during summer to finish everything was the right thing to do, painful but right :):).

Being free, I've been focusing on getting ready for my comeback at Uni here in Treviso after so much time (last time in Sept, for the Literature exam, for which I have some good memories despite not appreciating that subject too much :) ).

But let's follow the order and rewind time for a second. Ok, now we're again in 2015: following the tradition, I spent Christmas Eve having dinner with father's family and the day after I took part in the Christmas lunch with mother and grandma. Basically, it's all about eating ;);).

I managed to digest everything just on time for the New Year's dinner at Giacomo's. I had a great time there, not doing anything special, just enjoying the company (besides another friend of ours, there was also Jack's girlfriend, Theresa, who'd came to visit him from Denmark. She's a lovely girl, I'm happy to have known her :):) ) and then, when it came the time, seeing the fireworks.

As I said before, this 2016 has started in a very "peaceful" way. I've been spending quite a lot of time, if we consider my standards, doing shopping trying to get the best from the sales. Of course, sales or not, if I hadn't had some cash saved, being a "shopping maniac" would ave been useless :).

I also bought a couple of new rugs that, I believe, suits perfectly with me and with my bedroom :). And I succeeded in decorating my wall with the Spanish flag, one of the memories of the beautiful Zaragoza :):).

I finally went back studying German. Gosh, how difficult it is!!! I can't quite explain myself how such long and unpronounceable words are allowed to exist!!!! ;)

But I'm really enjoying it and I feel that, hopefully and very slowly, I can get somewhere with this thing. Reaching a good level would be such an amazing achievement for me and my self-confidence :).

Speaking of studies, I'm finally back to Uni on Monday!! I can't wait!!

Just in case you were wondering, I'm not crazy. My mind is still working well. I just am so excited about having classes again (oh my God, where the hell do these words come out from??). And of course I'm happy to see my classmates again :).

I'm curious about the new English classes (new teachers, touch wood!) and the Interpreting ones. I hope my positive expectations not to be failed!

I'm also going to begin thinking about the dissertation shortly. And that's where I'm disappointed with my Uni, but let's avoid talking about this for now. What's important is that this means I'm really close to getting my degree and reaching the end of this 3 years journey.

Gosh, it's already been three years!! How is it physically possible? Where the hell has all that time gone?? Wow…

Bah, for now, let's make the most of these last days away from pressure, then we're going to deal with all that is coming (whether good or bad, both related to Uni and to life in general).

Oh, yes: I should be taking part this year as well to the beautiful Carnival in Venice. As always, it's going to be a unique and wonderful show, weather permitting, and I'm sure I'll manage to take a lot of good pictures. I can't wait!! :).

And that is all, ladies and gentlemen. The summary of this last month ends here.

Wow! I even managed to contain the chatty me!! I'm getting so good at it that soon people will not have to fear me anymore ;);).

PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!

It Ends Where It Had Begun!

BUON  NATALE!!!

------------

I know, this post comes out with some delay, considering I came back more than a week ago, but my phone had literally abandoned me (thanks a lot, I have basically been unable to communicate for 5 days!); moreover, I had some business to deal with. But it doesn't matter, since now I'm publishing this one, the post that brings the curtain down on the Spanish adventure!

Wednesday the 16th of december saw me finally coming back to Italy, 93 days after saying goodbye to everyone and leaving for this amazing experience.

Time flies, doesn't it?

As you can imagine, I was filled with excitement before both these departures. And this is even a bit reductive, I was literally over the moon!! :)

As expected, I had no problems with the flights, even if I'd lie if I said I wasn't a bit worried. I think it's perfectly understandable, considering what happened a month ago.

Dad was waiting for me at Bergamo airport. Of course I couldn't wait to see him and I was ready for the predictable round of questions he'd ask me. But I was very happy to answer them all and to talk with him in general :).

I was surprised by how much I still had to tell him despite all those Skype calls to keep him up to date! Guess it was just my chatty nature who had to emerge and to play its role! ;);)

Another thing that surprised me was the weather. I was ready to face the Italian winter I love so much (that fresh air makes me feel so awake and alive!), but it turned out I was maybe a LITTLE bit too much dressed and I was boiling in my own clothes!
The overdressing idea was to have a lighter case and to protect myself from the feared Italian cold weather. A pity my plan was only a half success: the weather, despite having been cold all the previous days (and the following!!!), decided to trick me and to be warmer than normal. Yay!!!

Being a good Italian, as planned, the first dinner was pizza-based. Yes, no more Spanish "Pixa"!!!! ;)

The day after the journey finally came to its true end, at mother's house, where everything had begun three months before. I don't even need to say I got the best and warmest welcome of all times :):).

Carrying those, myself and a just received Christmas
card silently to prevent mother from opening
the door and thus ruining my photo
 was quite a challenge ;)

I think living far from home for quite some time was 100% worth it just for what I received and what I felt when I came back :):).

Just after walking past the door, I realized that what I had been missing the most of my home while being in Spain were its colours and the idea of life they give everyone who enters there. So far, I've never seen a house as "alive" as mine, and that's thanks to mum, who managed to transmit her lively nature and her energy to walls, rooms and furniture :):).

As I've already said plenty of times, I don't have any regrets: had I the chance to rewind time and re-live these three months, I'd make the same choices, no doubts about this. Living abroad and far from home helped me to understand I don't want this to be the last time: I have an even stronger will to go on and see as many things as I can.

Visiting new places, learning a lot about other cultures and ways of living and thus putting myself to the test and then, when the "journey" comes to an end, remembering everything: that's what I want to feel again and again in the future. I'm sure that treasuring all these experiences will help me becoming a better and more complete person :).

Now the part most of you like the most (sarcasm ;) ) in which I bore you thanking lots of people for their role in this Spanish thing: apologies, but I won't be happy until I do this, because I'm strongly convinced that at least 95% of the credit for my happiness and everything good that happened in the past three months belongs to these people.

First, my two mates in the flat 6F: Matteo and Andrea, you two were definitely the best people I could ask for. I really enjoyed our time in that flat, the jokes, the atmosphere we created and everything else. Thank you :).

Elena, Greta, Sara e Giada, then, have all my gratitude for all the time spent together. Thanks to you, I managed to do things I'd never done before and I had a lot of fun. So much laughing, so much "stupidity":):). Thank you! :)

Thanks also to Chiara (even if she forced me to watch X-Factor every single Thursday ;) ), Cattu, Silvia, Martina, Vania, Alessia, Bea and Deba and all the others :):). You've been the best company for this adventure!! :)

Special thanks go to those people who had to deal with my feelings of homesick and put in so much effort to support me during the bad moments. I want you to know this: you're the ones I'm most grateful to, because I know dealing with me in bad mood isn't…well, it's not easy. And yet, I can guarantee you succeeded, despite being thousands of km far from me. Family, Nick, Sx, Jack, the two Alessios, Bethany… Thanks for being incredibly wonderful and special people :):).

Of course, Zaragoza deserves to be thanked as well. A lovely city, full of life (and wind!!), I was so lucky to call "home". I'm going to go back in the future, cause I've left a part of my heart there. Only, I probably won't go there as a student, but as a tourist ;);).

Now we can turn this page, go on with the reading and think about what's yet to come (not to forget I'm 5 exams [and a thesis!] away from graduating and thus adding another chapter to the story of my journey!!) with positiveness and a smiley face! :)

HASTA PRONTO ESPAÑA!

PS I'm really late with this post, tomorrow it's the 25th of december, which means I take the chance to wish everyone all the best for the New Year and always :).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The Very Last Day!

Come mi sento?

L'appartamento era molto bello, spazioso e luminoso: ci siamo trovati davvero bene!

Perció, aspettatemi tutti, che sto arrivando!!!!!! :)

-------
Oh yes, it's true: today is the last day!

Tomorrow morning, after dealing with the houselord for a couple of things (quickly, I hope), we'll be officially leaving!

Our plane leaves at 13.10, but you know I like doing things far in advance (maybe too much far): that's why I'm going to try to reach the airport at 10.15 (10.45 would be ok the same, but it's too late for me :-P ).

Hey, what's the problem? It's only 2.55 hours before time! Remember that when I left Italy, I happened to reach the airport 4 hours before (more or less)! This means I'm working on my insanity! ;);)

Apart from jokes, I know that this might appear a bit too much, but this is my way of doing things: before is better, you never know what might happens meanwhile. Moreover, I don't see the point in wandering throughout the city together with 2 (heavy!) cases.

Right, cases. I spent almost the whole morning dealing with them. And I'm worried: I don't know if I'll manage to put everything in them. This despite giving some rope to the mother when she came to visit me (she could have taken more, but apparently she prefers seeing me struggling to find a solution. And she dared asking me to buy something!! Thank you mum... ;)  ).

I guess we'll see tomorrow, when, consumed by anxiety, I'll be trying to close them for the last time.

Today is also the day in which we're supposed to clean everything.

Of course we can't leave the house in a bad state, with dust on the floor and on the forniture. Even if, according to our houselord's words ('it must be in the same conditions it was when you first entered'), we technically could do that. But I'd like to avoid any risk, so we'll clean ;);).

Apologies, but, as always, I need to put also some reflections in my posts to be happy and in peace with myself :).

How am I feeling? Great! I couldn't be more happy! I really can't wait to be back home, since that I don't have anything more to do here. My adventure has come to an end by now, so it's time to leave.

Reading these last lines, it might seem I have not enjoyed this experience at all, but believe me when I say it's exactly the opposite. I fell in love with Zaragoza, it's a lovely city with much to offer. I'm happy to having called it 'home' during the past 3 months.

I really had fun at University and I'll miss it a lot!

Our flat was perfect: big and well lighted. We couldn't ask for better one!

I also had a great time with my mates and I think we're going home after creating a strong bond between us. Personally speaking, I'm glad of having shared this permancence with some of them!

See? No regrets, no reasons for being unhappy, but a strong will of moving forward, of testing myself. A strong will of making good use of what I've learnt, both referring to bare knowledge of notions and to the personal aspect. And, of course, a strong will of seeing everyone again, family, friends, my Treviso, MY PIZZA, ... ;););).

This is why I'm "a bit" more than overexcited :):).

Everyone, wait for me! I'm on my way!!! :):)

Farewell Parties!

Poi tutti a mangiare!

É stata forte come cosa, molto divertente.

Spero vada tutto bene!!

----------
Ok, they weren't exactly "farewell parties", but I like this title :).

As I said on Twitter, these 2 days were no less than beautiful for me.

But let's follow the order: Wednseday was the last "serious" day at University, since I had to do my last exam here. Then no more. No more classes, no more exams :).

Thursday, as planned more than a month before, was the day of the meeting with another group of erasmus students to spend a productive and "delicious" morning of intercultural exchange all together :).

They had prepared some presentations about their countries (USA, Belgium, Hungary, Japan, South Korea, Norway and Ghana), while we, being italians, were expected to prepare the food.

No prizes for guessing what I volunteered to prepare. Of course it was tiramisú, a typical italian dessert (more precisely, of Treviso, my lovely small town :) ). My classmates then brought lasagne, other cakes, small pizzas, sandwiches, salad cake, etc... Everything delicious of course ;).

This meant being busy all Wednesday afternoon preparing cakes (not one, but two tiramisú XXL size) and, thanks to Matteo (a good cream-mixer :) ) and Andrea's help (an excellent cream-eater :) ), I think the result was far better than expected.

Thursday morning was really lovely. I think that almost everyone of us managed to learn something new from our  foreign "colleagues": Hungarian, Norvegian and Belgic Christmas Traditions; Ghana geography, natural environment and folklore; South Korea education system and other cultural topics; something about the 16637 types of thermal water used in Japan; some differences between Ohio and Alabama, apart from getting another proof of the madness of the permission to own weapons in the US.

Really, a lot of things seemed at least curious to me, accustomed to the European (and of course Italian) way of living :). But this only means there's a huge world just outside our doors that is waiting for us to discover it!
I hope I'll be lucky enough to have (and to make a good use of) the opportunity to learn as much as possible during my life, that'd mean I've become truly rich :):).

But now time-out with reflections, it's time to eat!!

A great chance to get to know each other better, we who were "representing" our respective countries and cultures, so far between themselves.

What I appreciated was the positive rating my tiramisú got. And I'm not even joking (or praising myself too much): some of the reactions were truly amusing, above all for their faces expressions :):). I also got a standing ovation at certain point (i think I was quite embarassed, but also very pleased, in that moment :) ).

That face was due to the little time I had
to take the pic before
all was eaten :):)

I also had a lovely conversation with the Hungarian and the Norvegian girls. Not to mention Rika, a very funny and smart Japanese girl who's 28 years old, despite looking a tiny bit more than a teenager :).

The lasagne, then, were really delicious. My congratulations to the cooks :):):).

We had dinner out, in a place specialized in tortillas (where I got food-poisoned) and then we spent the night in pubs all together. I think I should mention that thing about going to bed at 6.30 am despite the 8.30 alarm... Naaaa, there's no need of it ;).

Can't explain myself what I was watching up there... ;)
(Apology for the poor quality, but that is the
proof of our pityful condition)

We gathered in a room to carry on the annual tradition of the erasmus classes of singing Christmas songs both in a serious and creative way :).

You can easily understand then the reason for most all of us being literally "zombying" all around with empty sleepy faces. However, we somehow managed to hide it quite well when it came our turn of singing (I think Santa's red hat had something to do with that ;) ) and our performance was great, especially when we started swapping randomly from Italian to Spanish and vice-versa... I think more than someone got a bit confused, but everyone appreciated our Italian originality :):).

In caseyou were wondering, I'm well hidden
in the rearguard, being the tallest ;);)

Again, I have to say I enjoyed the whole thing a lot, especially when some Korean guys began dancing in disco-style (was that really a Christmas party?? ;) ) or the guy from ghana performed round of Salsa. He was great!

Having remained 7 people of my group, we decided to offer our teacher Demelsa a farewell-drink and to take a picture all together. We'll miss her spirit and her simle a lot when we'll start with our courses in Italy :(.

A pity there wasn't the whole class, but
it's a great picture the same :)

As I've already said quite a few times by now, these were two amazing, magical and funny days: I'll remeber them forever, the best way to end this wonderful time here in Zaragoza.

Now it's time for us to deal with "technical" things in order to be able to leave Spain (Wednesday is the day) without any unsolved problem.

Keep you fingers crossed and wih me good luck!!

Exploration Weekend with Friends!!

---------
It's the second to last weekend of my stay here in Spain and, seen the 2 days extra-holiday, besides studying, we had planned a few things to do, including visiting a couple of local museums and other important sites we hadn't seen yet.

Our accurate schedule written by
Bea :):)

It all began on Friday, a boring day spent relaxing and pretending to study studying.

But it didn't matter, since our plans were for the evening: dinner in a vegetarian restaurant our teacher had recommended us. I had never tried something like that before, so I thought it'd be cool and, why not, thrilling having dinner there :):).

So, after a couple of pool matches, Andrea and I got dressed and went out to meet Elena, Bea and Greta near the restaurant.

The first impression of the place was undoubtedly positive. Everything was clean and well-lighted.

The real challenge begun when it came to interpret (literally!!) the menu. Believe me, when you've never heard about at least the 75% of the things in a menu (which, of course, was written in Spanish, just to make things "a bit" more challenging), even something apparently harmless like ordering food can become something potentially dangerous.

Anyway, after 20 minutes of group brainstorming  after a quick consultation, we ordered a full menu (planned for 2 people, but which we shared being five) plus another couple of things.

And, wow. I must say I had never eaten something so different, so particular: courgette timbale with parmigiano shavings and other things, falafel together with onions, a spicy garlic based sauce and other veggies (delicious!!), leek based vegetarian meat balls, spaghetti with algae (ALGAE!!) with.... PLANCTON sauce.

That white thing on the bottom left is
the plancton!

Yes, I typed correctly. Plancton. What whales eat while swimming in the oceans. Well, now I can say I have something in common with those majestic creatures.

But as you can see, the dish were very well made :)

To sum up, we ate well, even if it took our stomach some time to "finish" its work (approximately 4.30 hours, I went to bed with my stomach soundtrack).

Before going home, we went to one of the pubs near Uni to drink something. It was lovely, just sitting there in the middle of the sound of 200 other voices talking randomly about everything.

As for the previous day, Saturday morning was for studying and getting bored waiting for the afternoon.

To my happiness, finally it was time for museum trip! We were to visit The Goya Museum.

I must say that the museum in its entirety was worth a visit, even if maybe Goya's style (quite melancholic and dark) isn't exactly what I am most attracted from, but I can understand the artist was influenced by the period in which he lived (he witnessed the horrors of war and the violence of the early 1800  ) and therefore I can appreciate it the same (also because he used quite a particular technique that gives his drawings a unique precision and expressiveness. Amazing!! :) ).

But there were also other artists' works, some of which were clearly close to Impressionism, judging by the brush strokes.

I also was delighted to see there were a lot of italian artists' works exposed in the museum (so proud of my little boot-shaped country!! :):) ).

This isn't from an Italian artist, but
you can bet the "subject" is
Italian :):)

After the visit, because of the freezing cold (I had underestimate the weather at the time of choosing what to wear!) we had a walk in the middle of Christmas Markets in Pilar Square and we made the wise decision of drinking something hot while chit-chatting.

Of course, Mother Nature didn't take long to defeat us and made us return to our well warmed houses to see if we had some toes left.

The cultural weekend came to an end after Sunday's visit to Aljafería, an ancient huge castle which nowadays is the house of the government of the city.

From the outside, it's quite an impressive and, above all, well kept castle. All around its walls, then, there is a beautiful garden full of olive trees. The perfect sorroundings in my opinion :).

Huge, isn't it? :)

My first impression, just after walking through the main doors (cyclopic dimensions here too ;) ) was even better. I was standing in an internal green garden with orange trees sorrounded by a portico and its colonnade (both of them clearly dating back to the period of Arabic occupation here in Spain). And, wow: it seemed like I had just taken part in one of Game of Thrones scenes! :):)
No need to say I took loads of photos :):)

"Winter is coming!"
 - it fits perfectly, doesn't it? :)

Unfortunately, all the remaining part of the caslte was a disappointment. Except for some ceilings and some remainings of ancient arcs and decorations, the whole building has been completely renewed, so it lacks of interesting features. What a shame, such a wasted potential. They don't even allow tourists to climb up till the top of the walls to enjoy the view of what's around the building, maybe while daydreaming about travelling back in time to when there wasn't a city, but only earth, water and trees. That'd have been magical!

Sunday afternoon was just as quiet as the morning. Simple relax, nothing more :).

After this weekend I can say I've learnt at least something more about the city in which I've been living for almost three months by now. This makes me confirm my positive rating about Zaragoza: I really love it and I don't have any regrets for not choosing Málaga.

Now I really don't have much more to do here, except from the already mentioned exam on Wednesday and the farewell parties I'll be taking part in between Thursday and Friday (and for which I'll have to prepare not one, but two tiramisú: a sweet end for an amazing adventure! :) ). Then it'll be time for me to pack up (never gonna manage to do that), to clean the house, to get my 300€ cash back and then, at the very end, to say goodbye and leave.

Geez, I'll never get tired of being amazed by how fast time is. That's why we have to take any chances to do all sort of things and live the most amazing experiences, because life is really too short and those chances might not come back.

(This is what I keep telling me everyday, above all when I'm not motivated to do something. You could call it a part of my way of living :):) )

Hope I've not bored you with this long post, see you soon!! ;)

PS I didn't manage to take any picture of Goya's works because the room was very poor lighted and using the flash would have been pointless!

A Definite Must-See: La Seo Cathedral

Finalmente l'ho vista!

---------
I finally managed to see it!!

Friday morning I decided to make a good use of the fantastic weather so I got in tourist mode again, after some weeks from the last time. The fact I still have a lot to discover despite living here for more than two months is amazing :).

As I said before, the weather was perfect: fresh air, almost cold, but at the same time a warm sun. The best for me :).

I had planned a walk in the most important areas of the centre and then I absolutely wanted to visit La Seo Cathedral in the little square just near the Pilar and about which I had been told only the best. A lot of people, mother inculded, consider it even better than the Pilar itself. Well, I admit I was a bit sceptical about it. Come on, after seeing the greatness of the Basilica how could I accept that something so small and apparently 'poor' could beat it?

Of course, I was wrong. Incredibly wrong. Never judging from appearence. I was more than happy to pay 4€ for the ticket. And the facade doesn't reflect the beauty of the inside.

First, I'd like to say I don't really have a favourite style. I like many of them: Gothic, Baroque, some Reinassance style and of course a bit of Classical :).

Here there was a bit of everything. La Seo Cathedral was originally a XII romanesque building and this can be noticed still today, thanks to some architectural features. In the following century the rebuilding of the Cathedral in Gothic style began. Then the many restoration works the Cathedral has undergone through the years have allowed the building to be incredibly well kept still today. It is, indeed, the most valuable historical building in Aragón representing, as I sais before, multiple trends.

(I was told all these things by the man I became friend with. And of course I had researched a bit before visiting La Seo. Hey, I'm my mother's son after all :):) ).

You can understand how much surprised I was when I walked past the door. Incredible! By a quick look, there was a bit of everything: chapels with Baroque facades, Gothic windows, Reinassence features... WOW <3

To put it short, I spent almost half an hour wandering inside this beautiful building. I'm pretty sure I walked around each chapel at least 5 times and everytime I was stunned by something new I hadn't noticed before.

The only thing I wasn't happy with? No photos allowed!!!! :(:(

Of course I wasn't going to be stopped by such an insignificant ban so, after memorizing the guard's route and finding annappropriate spot, I somehow managed to take some good picture :-P. Everything without being notice by anyone ;).

Oh, come on!! You'd have done the same! I had to keep something of that visit!

As I mentioned before, I spent quite some time talking with a man of the staff, who was so kind and explained me a lot of things about the history of the Cathedral. It was a double win for me, seen I managed both to learn new things and to practice Spanish :).
And I'm not even as bad as I thought, which is really great to me (I just need to acquire more fluidity, but that'll come with time).

I could stay here talking for hours, but it's better if I keep the chatty me under control :).

Just one thing: You can't travel to Zaragoza without visiting La Seo. I'm serious, it really deserves to be seen.

I'd say that yesterday I had another little proof of how great travelling and visiting new places is. I believe it's something that increases your cultural background, not to mention it makes you a better person. At least, it's what I think :).

Lack of Events Altering the Routine. Oh, and We're Almost At The Final Rush!

----------
Here I am again, after two weeks since the last time I wrote something!

I just wanted to begin the post
with the simbol of
Zaragoza :)

Lately I've been way too busy, and this, together with the fact I didn't really want to write (for several reasons), is the main reason for my absence. Moreover, nothing special happened, so you haven't missed anything!

The last two weeks went on quite normally, according to my fixed routine for the week: Uni-Home-Studying-Dinner-Relax-Bed. This from Monday to Thursday (Thursday night is for friends and fun ;) ). In these days I spend more time at Uni than anywhere else, so it's quite natural to think about Friday as the day in which I "recharge" myself to be at 100% in the weekend. Oh, I also use Friday to study a lot, doing all the practice for the following week.

Saturday and Sunday are both days in which I study the grammar, vocabulary... All the theoretical part. But I use expecially Saturday evening and night to have fun going out with friends and doing all sort of crazy things with them :):). I love you guys!

One of our movie evenings :):)

Sunday is for getting psichologically ready for the week that's about to come, so nothing special, just some walking in the city or some "early" drink with the aforementioned friends.

Now time for the (very few) news!

Two weeks ago mother came to visit me! She had planned to stay here from Friday night to Sunday morning, then she would move to Madrid for a few days. Lucky her!

I was really excited to see her again after almost two months and to guide her through the whole city. Ok, she was the one guiding me sometimes, but never mind... It's mum, after all!!

Photo taken while on the top of the Pilar
with mum :)

(For those of you who don't know my mother, she's the kind of person who always manages to be fully prepared about a place before visiting it. That's quite frustrating sometimes, she just speaks too much!!! But she made me discover a couple of lovely places I'd never seen before, so I can but be grateful ;);) )

I wanted to show her that I was doing great and I had no probs in living alone. I know she is proud of me for that and I can but be happy for that since, to me, it means I'm ready for similar experiences in the future, starting, hopefully, from next summer.

Another news: I passed the Business Spanish exam and I did quite well! I enjoyed a lot the oral part, when we were asked to debate in pairs about a random topic. A shame it lasted only 5 minutes!!
(I know I can seem insane, but I really enjoy exams time, above all oral tests, when I can unleash the chatty me and go on talking forever. So the longer the exam, the better :):) ).

The best class celebrating Halloween! :)

I have a lot of fun also during my nights with friends: movie nights, nights out drinking something and wandering around or dinners out looking for something delicious :):):).

Dinner wit buffet!!! No need to say
how much I ate that night ;)

I also managed to 'craft' an eatable ragú after a thousands of failed attempts... How much I'm missing Italy, home and italian food!! ;);)

Last thing: from today it's exactly 30 days from my flight back to Italy!! Yay!!!!!

Now don't misunderstand, I love Zaragoza and also Spain in general. I'm definitely coming back in the future, but I really need my home, my friends and my family :).

Oh, yes: I decided to postpone my trip to Madrid and Barcelona, due to several reasons, included the disaster happened in Paris. I think this is the best choice, I'll have time to come back in the future.

PS I've learnt a couple of things: when sending Happy BDay messages avoid Skype, unless your mex is sent about a couple of weeks before. The same goes for the present! ;)
But the thought is what really matters, isn't it? :):)
